Capcora enhances M&A Team with Addition of Dr. Sebastian Rothe.

Capcora, a leading consulting firm, has announced the addition of Dr. Sebastian Rothe to its team as a new Director Energy & Infrastructure in Frankfurt. Starting in September 2024, Sebastian brings over 15 years of diverse experience in M&A, strategy, and business development, primarily within the energy sector.

Before joining Capcora, Sebastian led the energy & environment division at TÜV Rheinland in Germany. There, he developed and oversaw technical M&A advisory services tailored for wind assets, assisting a wide array of clients including financial investors and utilities in navigating complex wind farm deals. His extensive background also includes roles at PwC and BET, where he specialized in valuing and managing transactions for renewable energy assets and utilities.

Sebastian’s academic journey includes studies in business across Cologne, Prague, and Stockholm, topped with a Ph.D. in energy finance from the University of Hamburg.
