Capcora is a Frankfurt based M&A and Corporate Finance boutique specialized on real assets. We are currently increasing our capacity and capabilities in the energy & infrastructure division and look out for new high potential juniors. We offer the opportunity to gain detailed insights into origination and execution of M&A processes and finance transactions in ground-breaking solar PV, onshore wind and storage projects across Europe.
THE POSITION
Based in Frankfurt (or one of our other branches in Hamburg, Munich or Münster), you will contribute to the development, structuring and execution of Capcora’s mandates in Europe across a variety of projects and processes. Analysts will work directly with and learn from our Associates and VPs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of project opportunities relating to financing and M&A processes
- Developing, reviewing, and managing sophisticated financial models / discounted cash flow valuations / scenario analysis and summarizing results in a clear and effective manner
- Assisting in due diligence processes conducted by third party advisors
- Analyzing various projects and markets to identify potential deal opportunities
- Creating key marketing and process documents (teasers, information memorandum and reporting)
- Assisting in research, writing, and proofing of market intelligence for marketing and process materials
- Active participation in the (real and virtual) office life of a young company that is always looking to improve quality of its services
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong Excel modeling skills, ideally with experience in VBA or another programming language
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and excellent analytical skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively both as independently and as part of a team
- Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Ideally, existing financial modelling and valuation experience preferably within the renewables, energy, and/or infrastructure sectors
- Commitment to personal growth and career development
